Intramural Basketball

Grades K -4 & Grades 5 – 8

Intramurals for children in grades K through 4 is more of an instructional clinic. No prior experience with basketball is necessary. The children do not jump right in to playing games. We concentrate on teaching fundamentals as a base for all children to improve, and most importantly, to have fun. On Saturday mornings the children will attend intramurals for 1 hour in St. Anselm’s gym. The first 45 minutes consists of our coaches rotating the children among 4 stations. Each station concentrates on a specific skill—shooting, dribbling, passing and proper footwork. For the last 15 minutes the children play a controlled scrimmage. As the season and the children progress, the games may become longer. All of the children will receive a jersey at the start of the season.
• Grades Kindergarten, 1 & 2 Saturday mornings 9:30-10:30am
• Grades 3 & 4 Saturday mornings 10:30-11:30am
• Season November through March

• $130 early bird fee/$140 after November 1st (includes cost of jersey)
• All times are subject to change due to gym availability, especially during holiday weekends and school closings
